I made the switch from the Moto X 2014 to the Droid Turbo. I noticed that, in addition to my Google Contacts (109 contacts), I have an additional 452 contacts listed under "Phone". It looks like most of them are my Facebook friends. I am not sure how they got there and they weren't on my Moto X. I don't think I did anything different while setting up my Turbo vs Moto X. Basically, I only want my Google Contacts on my Phone. Any suggestions on where they might have come from and how I can fix my issue?

    Thanks in advance!

This sounds like they were restored/added from a backup app like Verizon Backup/Cloud or maybe even Moto Migrate?

Is there a way to bulk delete contacts? Because it would take quite some time to manually delete 400+ contacts...

Unless you told it not to sync your contacts during setup it would have brought in your Facebook contacts. Go to your contacts, hit the menu button and tap contacts to display. You can then tell it to only display your Google contacts.

I have been viewing only Google Contacts, but in the dialer, when I tap on "All Contacts" it brings in everybody...that's my biggest issue. Also, I would like to use SyncMe, to grab just the Facebook profile pictures, and not the contacts.

After a lot of research, I found a solution....

    Stop syncing Google Contacts
Settings -> Apps -> All -> Contacts Storage -> Clear Data
    Start syncing Google Contacts.

I'm still not sure as to why all of those contacts were in my phone, but thanks for you're help!

Settings / apps. Find "Contacts Storage" under the "All" tab, tap it, and tap "clear data".

In case this is a case of the Verizon Backup Assistant restoring contacts, you may want to go into Settings / Backup Assistant Plus and turn off syncing before you do this.

Your Google contacts will sync down to the phone with the next sync.

I've never used Sync.me or Ubersync to sync Facebook contacts - maybe there is a setting in one of those apps to only sync contacts that are already in the People app?
