I'll get the HTC m8 if you want good speakers. I find the turbo to be tinny and decently loud

I've an M8 since they came out...April? Going in to check on the Turbo this week. I'm guessing I will like it but will have a hard time pulling the trigger on an early upgrade. I really like to M8.

I've had both. Literally the only downside to the M8 vs any other Android phone released this year is the camera. If taking pictures is not important to you, the M8 is a great choice. I have the Turbo now and camera is pretty solid but the M8 edges it out with build quality and the speakers. I've also had the G3, S5, Galaxy Note 4, and many others I've lost count of....

I did use the M8 for a while and absolutely loved the speakers but I found it too tall for my liking and wasn't fond of the camera. That being said, I do have a Turbo on order as I'm somewhat bored of Samsung (I'm using an S5 right now) and TouchWhiz.

I'll give the Turbo a shot but I'll be watching for the M9. Or whatever is next up.

I find the camera to be pretty poor and this is from me using a Samsung galaxy s2, s3,s4 note 3 and note 4. The note 4 has a great camera and the note 3 is decent of the bunch

Thanks for the replies so far! Camera is not a big deal for me but I'm sure the M8 camera is better than my RMHD. :-) Plus from what I am reading the Turbo camera has some serious lag time. And the speakers on the M8 are a definite advantage.

As far as the M8 being too tall, actually the Turbo is only about .1 inch shorter and is also wider and heavier than the M8. On phonearena there is a comparison tool where you can compare the size of phones, the Turbo and M8 are pretty comparable. The weight of the Turbo concerns me since my current phone RMHD is about 5.54 oz, the Turbo is 6.2. M8 is only slightly heavier than RMHD.

Good point about the M9...another quandry....pull the trigger on the M8 or wait for the M9. M8 came out around end of March.

If you wait for the next device, you'll always be waiting. It's your device so give one a whirl. I will say the M8 was pretty snappy performance wise but the Turbo is a beast!! Motorola did pretty well this time around.

Yep...very true. My contract is up 11/19 so I have a couple weeks to decide. Right now leaning towards M8.

If you go with the M8, I have a bunch of stuff for it I listed in the MarketPlace.

You certainly can't beat the speakers on the M8 - too bad the Turbo doesn't have dual speakers but it's not bad. I've had the M8 and think the Turbo wins across the board, but it's your device. Go with what you feel is better for you.
