Verizon Motorola Droid Turbo Usb on the go storage ?

Has anyone managed to get it working on the Turbo? I picked up a 64gb Sandisk USB jumb drive that should work with the turbo but no go so far .

I did some looking around and yes, it does support external USB storage. You'll need an OTG cable or adapter to allow you to connect the expandable memory to the Turbo. Let us know how it goes.

If the 64 GB drive is formatted NTFS, you'll need to reformat it as FAT32 to get it to work, I believe. I know that there is a single file size limitation of 4 GB for FAT32, but I can't recall if FAT32 supports partitions as large as 64 GB - but I think it does...

Hmmmm the Scandisk 64GB is formatted in EXFAT . I can only format it in NTSF or ExFAT on my laptop . Not sure if its a limitation of Win 8.1 .

Got it fixed . Had to download a program to Format the 64gb thumb drive to Fat 32 . Works great now .

May I ask what formatting utility you used? I have Windows 8 also and I just bought a Droid Turbo and would like to use the external storage capability.

Unfortunately I can't remember ,this was 2 yrs ago . I did a google search on free programs that would format to fat32 .
