So I finally got the turbo. I can adjust to the lower sound quality I guess but my signal strength is horrible.
I am around 96-110 dbm while my note 2 was always in the 80s. I haven't had signal this bad since the gnex. I even changed mobile network from global to lte/CDMA and same.
For the sum from the store yesterday.

Thoughts?

Definitely odd -- Do you have any other phones that you can compare in the same spot (like side by side)?

I would consider going back to the store and asking for another Turbo. If you can show them the difference with other Turbos in the store that would help. My Turbo has a great signal, as high or higher than all other devices I've had before, including my GS3.

Bought it used.
I changed from global to LTE/CDMA at work and next to my note 2 its the same.
The 1x is great its the 4g that's bad at times but works. No issues calling wise except one instance.

Also 22% battery drain in 6 hrs par for the course?

I think 3.7% per hour is pretty good... 6.5-7 hours sot for me! So I'm happy
