Droid Turbo latest update can't answer phone, how can I fix this?

Droid Turbo latest update can't answer phone

Ever since I finally updated with lollipop 5.1 I have lost the ability to answer the phone with a swipe. The phone rings and no phone icon shows. I have to open the phone to my home screen, then hit the phone on it, then hit the 'return to call in progress'. How can I fix this? Three steps is just ridiculous!

You could try going to settings - apps - all tab - phone - clear cache and data and then reboot your phone. Also you could wipe the cache partition in recovery mode, this is recommended after a system update.

This is exactly what is happening to me. I tried clearing Cache but it does not seem to be responding. Also I have about 3 things in ALL TABS that say phone and one that says Phone/messaging storage. None of these let me clear cache. I am able to forcestop...but I think that may be how I got in trouble to begin with!

FOUND IT....Go to Settings>Sounds & notification>App Notification then unblock the Dialler App then everything will be normal again.
