Weirdest thing just happened.

I was just out walking, the only thing running on my phone was the stop watch on my clock so I could time my walk.

Then I heard something playing on my phone. It was some kind of biodiesel info ad. I tried to shut it off but couldn't find anything running, just the clock. Nothing, nothing running, nothing in my history, nothing at all. It lasted about five minutes and when it was over it stopped.

It was like the phone picked up some transmission. I've never had anything like that happen. Anyone ever hear of anything like this or have any ideas?

You've an app that has push ads already checked off as being allowed by default. There are some small apps that let you track down push notifications.

Also check chrome. Do you have a tab open with an auto play ad?

I had something like that happen before and it was the iheartradio app. It took a while to figure out how to shut the damn thing off.
