Dialer test menu not working?

*#*#4636#*#* doesn't work in the dialer like other moto phones I've tried. How do I get this to work? I just want my phone to stay on WCDMA only

You can go into the settings, find mobile data, and switch "Preferred Network Type" from Global or CDMA/LTE to LTE/GSM/UMTS. You don't need a dialer test menu.

Well, you didn't say that.

This app works for that on the Droid Maxx. Should work on the Turbo.

Read the instructions that pop up carefully to see which setting you should change to.

You'll have to run it again every time you restart the phone if it's like the Droid Maxx.
