Google Music Play problem

How the #%+&! do you set it so it doesn't auto start when you get in your car(other than turning off the Bluetooth). It's really, really annoying!

I know that there is a setting in the Moto app for drive assist that automatically starts music when it determines that you are driving. I would start with that.

That may not be it, but I'd check that setting first.

I don't use Moto. I'm guessing that's the one that tells you it's "12 minutes to home" every day? Never activated it because it was annoying as...

I believe that's Google Now. The Moto app has a few small applets:

Moto Display, which is the notification indicator that flashes on your display when it is powered off
Moto Voice, to allow voice control and searching from any app and with the display off
Moto Assist, which automates reading of text messages, answering calls, while you are driving, as well as silencing the phone at night while you sleep and while you are in meetings, based on your calendar, and can also do the same reading of texts while you are at a place you designate as home
