Updating app issues

Every third time or so that app updates come up I need to restart my phone. If I don't, the first app will download but will just get stuck on "installing".....so I restart my phone and repeat the process. Anybody else having this issue?

Is it a specific app or does it happen every time you update apps?

If you go into settings / apps and tap the play store and tap the button "clear data", does that fix the problem? If not, then how about if you tap the button "uninstall updates" (it will reinstall them after the next time you go into the play store app.)

Maybe clear play store data? It rebuilds itself in the background, so nothing valuable is lost.
