Cast to a Nearby Device Pop Up and Text Message Won't Send Error

So lately I have been having a few issues with my phone.

The first one is that I randomly get a "Cast to a nearby device" pop up it seems almost every day. Regardless of where I am whether it be at home, work or in the car.

Please see screenshot below of the pop up. There is really no way to get rid of this as it takes many times of opening new apps and such for it to finally go away.



The other issue I have been having is that on text messages that I send on Google Messenger, it is saying "Not Sent. Tap and try again." in red text. The messages are actually going through though since people are responding to them.

Has anyone else come across any of these issues lately?

I should clarify that the Google Messenger issue only seems to happen on MMS’s.

Has anyone else run into this issue with the Android Messages app? I cleared the partition cache and updated to the newest Android Messages app and I am still having this problem on any MMS sent.

"Not Sent. Tap and try again." in red text. The messages are actually going through though since people are responding to them.
