Verizon Ultra only using 3G

Had my ultra for a year now and noticed this weekend that it was only showing 3G. Gave it a day and stopped by the local Verizon store this morning. Said it was a bad SIM card. Anyone else have this issue???

Bad SIM cards can happen. It should be a fairly simple matter of getting a replacement SIM from Verizon. Did they offer one?

Did you try a reboot/powercycle or toggling airplane mode?

What is this, a windows phone??? Yes, rebooting fixed it...

Go to Settings-> More-> mobile networks-> Preferred Network type-> and select the last option
That should do the trick
