Felt like taking a break from my DInc so I went back to the X. Doing the 1-click root right now!

Well, if you update to 602, there is a one-click method posted here on this site. There were some issues related to trying to root a previously rooted phone (one with Superuser already on the phone), and these were resolved by the end of this post, using the updated root option after the first post.

I am going to be applying the One Click right now.

I will be testing if the "Wifi Tether for root" works. I did the long root method before with the Tether work around all though I could tether I could not get around the website redirect.

If you have used this root method and can tether free please let us know.

    DX User and loving it!!!

josh, I was apprehensive about doing the one click root also. I've had my X since late May and just wasn't comfortable going through all the steps to root it. I did my X last week and haven't looked back. Took all of 10 minutes including the download of the zip file. It works perfect!

My phone was rooted before gb, how do I get super user off the phone so I can do this 1 click root? I've ran it and says successful but when I open set cpu I have no root access.

    Slick! Was truly easy.

One question, will I have an issue if there is an OTA update? I don't know how to un-root if it becomes necessary.

From what I've seen, an OTA will kill the root
