Email notification freaking out!

My email notification statred going off like a fireworks show...notifing me of alll kinds of email, many i had even delteed..soooo..every few minutes, it just takes off--ding ding ding....notice after notice...

CAN ANYONE HELP ME TO STOP THE INSANITY???

I can help you with the symptoms: From the email app, go to Menu \ Settings \ Notifications and change the settings. Either turn off the notifications entirely or set the ringtone to "silent" and turn off vibrate. The LED and notification bar will still alert you, but the phone will stay silent and still.

As to the root of the problem... that's your email service provider. It keeps saying that you have new email.
