app market trouble, asking for password

Im trying to get on app market...pop up requests my google acct, which is .......@youtube.com,,,I enter the password, wont accept..I even went to desk top, changed password...still wont accept..

help?

I just started having the same problem. Most likely Google's issue. Hopefully someone will fix it soon. My issue started after getting a notification on the drop down bar at the top of the home page that there was an update available. I had just updated several apps on market manually. Oh, well - this too will pass!

I made a change that permitted me to access Market. Go to Applications in Menu, select Market and delete all updates. You will revert to your original version of Market and will be able to go to the Market without encountering the password bug. Hope this helps someone else.

I would delete data in the app and log in again.
