After diagnosing my bad microSD card on another thread and the options now...i started thinking more bout cloud storage.
I mean..I am the proud owner of a Fire, which I dearly love.
But, I don't actually STORE that much stuff on there on my Kindle Fire and I've learned to think more in the cloud with it.
On my X my 16 GB SD card (old bad one) still has 10 GB left on it.
So...
If my X has 3G, and I can access photos, etc. WHY would we want bigger cards?
I mean, unless we're in the bottom of a pit needing to look at a video, really?
Let's just get used to storage in the clouds!
IMA start putting my music up there anyways and see how that goes. Amazon music lets you have free storage. I buy tunes from them anyways. I don't WANT my 20 GB of music to have to sift thru.
Just thinking outloud here.

Cloud storage is slower than card storage. Cloud storage is subject to being able to use your data connection.
Depending on what you want, cloud storage may not support the way you want to work. And, once our unlimited data plans expire and we're forced to go with a quota, cloud storage will be more expensive than card storage.

I have a 32G card in my DX. I sync ~15GB worth of iTunes "smart playlists" to my X, this is not possible using any cloud based solution. I also have ~9GB of photos on there.
