Droid X Question

I purchased a Droid X on Ebay, so I do not know the history of the phone. I guess it is at least 2 years old.

My question is this ... sometimes it does not respond to touches. I touch the screen and nothing happens. Like it is locked up. Sometimes it takes a few seconds to start behaving and sometimes I have to reboot. Is this normal?

I don't know if it is a symptom of
1. it being an old phone
2. the android OS
3. all droid x's
4. all smart phones

I am not bashing as I am enjoying it very much, but I wanted to find out about this occasional erratic behavior.

No, that is not normal. Do a factory reset and then re-set up the device. Hard Reset Droid X
