So with any new phone I purchase, I've made it a habit of purchasing a case of some sort within the first few days of ownership. I have to say, I'm not impressed with VZW's offerings on release day in regards to cases (pricing seems a bit outrageous, even with my 25% off discount).

I noticed that one company who plans on releasing a large selection of cases for the X is Amzer.

I've never heard of this company, nor have any experience with their products. I was just curious if anyone has?

I can confirm that Seidio plans on putting out at least one case (no date given to me) and I believe Incipio also plans on putting one out at a yet to be announced date. I already have my Zagg shield ordered, now I just need a case.

I have a silicone case(Belkin) for my ipod touch and love it. I could never find one I liked for my BB though!! I plan on getting some kind of silicone case for the X too! I wish they had more views of the amzer silicone case!!

My only problem with silicon cases is that some of them tend to attract dust and pocket lint. So I would suggest getting your hands on the one you want to buy before actually purchasing it. I've bought two in the past and ended up not using them because of this.

EDIT: Totally getting the Argyle case too though lol.

Sorry for the double post, but I would wait for a few of these skins to get reviews before buying them. My biggest issue with case on the storm was the fact that they generally limited access to the bottom four keys pretty significantly. And since these buttons aren't capacitive, I would worry the same thing about the DX.

So just do some homework on cases before spending money on one.
