    What controls the green led and why does it go on. It was flashing earlier but has stopped. Not sure
    what activated it.

    I take it that means there really isn't any charging light indication? That was an open question a while back, and I never saw the answer.

    nah, the only indicator you will see for any battery related stuff is a flashing red when your phone falls below 10% (or is it 5%, can never remember, as mine rarely gets that low)

    I just plugged my X in and the led at the top is red... so o would assume a charge light.

    what level was your battery at when you plugged it in. like i said, i have only ever seen it when i had a low battery

    It makes me wonder if it's a bug. I can't imagine why it wouldn't turn amber and then green like any other modern phone would.
