i know this will probably be a slow thread until root access is gained, but I love these threads, as they are a great way to find out about new apps and new widgets. Plus, i love showing off what I am rocking on my phone :).

Also, to hopefully preempt the question from being asked, Jerry wrote a great article a couple months ago about how to take screenshots without root access. Once the SDK is set up, it is super easy to do, so lets hope a lot of people contribute.

Start showing off!

I'll give this a shot when I get home from work, since I can't download anything onto the work computer.

BTW, I feel for you being a Baltimore Orioles fan, we up here in Seattle aren't doing too good this season either.

Also, that's the same Beautiful Widget clock I'm using, it looks awesome, it's my favorite.

Thanks, I had to buy the pure cal and messenger. Stock Moto just looks like crap.

I already had the beautiful widgets.

Quick question.

Is there an app to take a picture of your screen? I know BB had one.

I would search the app market but my phone was left in my truck and it is too freakin hot for me to go out and get it LOL.

OK, I think I've got it down to where I want it for now. Four screens. Screen 1: I have my Beautiful Home DroidFlip skin and weather at the top, Messaging and Gmail below that. Screen 2: Data Usage, Beautiful Bluetooth, GPS, Wifi widgets in a row across the top. Screen 3: Slacker Radio, Pandora, Music, Youtube all 4x1 widgets down the middle of the screen. Screen 4: Scanner Radio 4x1 widget at the top. Not a lot now, but I don't travel or use the phone for business, so it's not necessary right now to have a ton of widgets and shortcuts on 7 screens.

there are apps that do it, but you have to be rooted to use them. since the X has not been rooted yet, the sdk is the only way to do it

With the pure messenger widget can i set it to just show facebook and also set a time interval to check for new posts? Possibly set it to only show certain peoples facebook posts?

I would post mine, except after trying to get the SDK right for an hour im giving up. I have installed everything accordingly, but still getting an error that it cannot find java runtime on the machine.

I think I was using Home ++ at some point and it had a option to take screen caps with the camera button. Have not seen this with any other home app. Wish LauncherPro had it... Time to send an email!
