Importing Ringtones

I'm helping a relative who is clueless about technology. He wanted for me to make ringtones, and I have a Evo. I thought importing ringtones ont o the Droid X would be as simple as it is on my EVO via drag and drop. I imported the audio files onto the audio folder on the X and they did not show in the ringtone menu. Am I missing something here? Thanks

in the audio folder, make a folder called "ringtones" and drop them in there. they should appear then. same applies if you want music to show up for notifications or alarms. just make folders in the audio folders with those names and there you go!
