I'm not new to Android, but I am new to rooting. This is the first time I was really waiting for it because honestly it really pisses me off that I can't uninstall some of the bloatware.
What I'm a little hesitant about is what apps or services to NOT mess with. For example, there's the "Social Networking" app/service. I don't think it's needed since I don't used any of Moto's built in social networking stuff, but there's an example of not knowing the line between what is and what isn't an essential part of whatever Moto did with it's integration with Android.
Could we possibly use this thread to make something along the lines of a list of what NOT to remove or disable from running? Apps or Services that when removed would cause a problem?
I also don't know if rooting interferes with OTA updates. I'm sure I'll find that info somewhere in the rooting info (feel free to answer anyway
