Question about AGPS on the X

I have noticed that when I have only agps turned on without gps, my loction is off by a few blocks in google maps. When I turn on the gps it puts me in the correct location but I am still at the old location when my friends look at me on latitude. It seems that latitude only shows my agps location which is off of where I am. Is this a common problem with the droid X?

If you re-send you location, that should fix it on your friends end.

That worked thanks. But is there a known problem with agps on the x? My friends phone only has agps and it seems to be accurate while mine is off by a few blocks.

From the Main Screen, Settings, Location & Security.... Make sure the "Use wireless networks" is un-checked. When this is activated, the phone will try and locate you based on cell towers. At least that's what I understand. When I had mine activated, my GPS was also off anywhere from a block or so to over a mile. Turning this off and using GPS satellites corrected the problem.

Not sure this is the answer to your problem but it might work.
