LauncherPro disables Smartkeyboard on Droid X

Been using the Smart Keyboard since the first day I got my Droid X (pre-ordered online at midnight Eastern Time; 9 Pacific, and received the following Friday.)

So, it is pretty much the only keyboard I've used on the Droid X. About half of my emails are in Spanish, so I love the little language toggle to go back and forth.

Just installed LauncherPro 0.7.1.0, and since then Smart Keyboard will not work. It is properly installed and activated, but it will not appear - instead I get the original keyboard.

I've tried installing and uninstalling both, but cannot make the keyboard work.

Is there any way to make both of these applications live, play, and work together?
