Would somebody please tell me what the purpose of this program is?? I installed it and expected it to be similar to the blackberry software that you can look at what is going on with my phone but it seems like it does nothing.

Everytime I open it all it does it take me to Vcast.

Seems like all it does is check for driver updates... Whats the point ??

It is software from motorola to aid your phone in connecting with your computer via drivers.

If you want to disable it from taking you to V CAST all you have to do is after you plug it into your computer look for the little Motorola symbol in your task tray. Right click on it and set to "Do Nothing".

I uninstalled this program after it loaded the drivers. It seems extremely cumbersome/useless (so far) and, when the X is in USB connect mode, it's very functional as a flash drive connection where I can drag/drop whatever necessary.
