My phone says I have a voice mail from 12/31/1969 and I can't get rid of it.

I don't use verizons Voicemail, I use youmail, but it seems to be connected to verizons Voicemail.

How do I get rid of it without doing a hard reset??

You must throw your phone at precisely 88mph so you can meet up with doc and save him... im sorry I really don't know but that's nuts. No way to listen to it and delete.

It might be a good idea to use the native voicemail - Verizon s. Too often outside apps conflict with the built-in applications, especially when they duplicate functions. Delete your voicemail app, do a battery pull (take battery out for one full minute, reinstall, turn on). See if things work ok. Worth a try, anyway.

I believe you can turn off call forwarding (*73 I think), clear the message and then turn it back (*72, then your number).
