Hi,
I am wondering if anyone has come across this issue before.

Sometimes when I try and access my mp3's while in the gym, my phone tells me it cant access the storage device as it cant read it. I simply reboot and it works fine afterwords..

is this a bug in the os?

usually when I see that it's because something else has mount of the SD card
do you have winamp installed? if so there is a setting in there that lets you turn off auto mount.

If you are using the stock music player, this is a known issue with Android 2.2 OS. I recommend using a substitute music player. I have been using WinAmp and have not experienced that issue any more.

the 32gb sdcard I received from verizon wasn't formatted properly and put my phone in a boot loop requiring a factory reset. if you haven't done already reformat the card using a sdcard reader on your pc. Do a full FAT32 format. It wasnt enough for mine to have only the phone format it.
