All of a sudden my X vibrates differently. It's not as crisp as it used to sound and feel. I haven't changed any settings or anything. Any ideas?

This changed for me when I updated to group originally. Its actually the duration of the haptic feedback vibration. I don't know how to change it with the default keyboard, but if you use SwiftKey keyboard you can manually change the length of vibration for your keyboard so that it's closer to what it used to be. Personally I like the shorter haptic feedback... feels crisper to me.

.....I wonder why Motorola changed this.

My guess is it is just a feature to be able to ensure the vibration is felt if in a pocket or something. I have had times before when I have accidently left the phone on vibrate after work and not felt a call come in while in my front pocket while in the car because of the vibration while driving. Alternating the strength of the vibration could make it more detectable.

Of course I may just be talking out of my a$$.....
