So I was able to find the dancing droid from a evo forum and get it running on my x. Even slowed it down to try to match a song I picked. I then used ringdroid to chop up the song to play. I put the bootanimation.zip file into data/local and the mp3 in the data/local. In the text doc I have at the bottom s boot.mp3 (name of the song file). For whatever reason the sound will just not play. I can give my files if need be.
