Is there any way to show titles or file names of videos in the gallery? If not is there an app for it?

Astro file manager will show you filenames.

Your video files will launch fine from Astro as well. I know that's not what you wanted, but that's a workaround I use.

I like Meridian as a media player. It shows filenames and has a bit more usefulness over the stock players, plus it is an all-in-one solution.
