My Droid X said flash at the top and I hit one of the volume buttons now it won't turn back on. What should I do?

Welcome to Android Central! We need more details. Was it a notification message that said "flash"? Is that all it said? Have you tried pressing and holding the Power button for 10-15 seconds? Are you able to boot into Recovery and try to wipe the cache partition? How-to - Clear system cache on Droid X & X2
