Droid X keeps waking up every hour....wtf?

Every hour, without fail, at xx:34 (ie. 9:34, 10:34, etc..), my Droid X wakes up, the screen displays and then shuts off a minute later. What is going on?

I would make a guess that you probably have something set to update hourly and the device briefly wakes up when it activates the update command.

weather app, fancy widgets, beautiful widgets, something is set to wake on refresh.

Or, something is set to update in the background on a set schedule. Check your downloaded apps -- and especially the widgets you have on your home screen - like those mentioned by racinwarrior, particularly the weather apps/widgets. If you have a news widget, that may be a culprit as well.
