What to do, rooted DX downloaded GB

I have a rooted dx by Z4 root. Darkslide ROM as well. Today my phone downloaded the new update and keeps asking to install. What can I do? Will it be ok if I unroot with the z4 app then install the GB update? I an actually happy with what I have. Can I just get rid of the update and stay with rooted froyo. Thanks for the help.

you do not want to accept the update unless you are completely stock, as it will not install properly. if you want to keep what you have, you can rename the blur updater apk so you dont get the update notifications, but i have heard that can sometimes be risky

I am still on Froyo, all I did is "freeze" the Updater with Titanium Backup.
