I rooted my DX2 a few weeks ago and just today decided to attempt flashing a ROM to it. I downloaded the Liberty 3 ROM for the X2 and everything that I found I needed at this site: DX 2 LIBERTY 3 v1.0

I followed the directions down to the point where it said, "Wipe Data/Factory ResetWipe Cache" and I wasn't sure if I should do that. I got called AFK and when I came back, I continued, skipping that step and proceeding with the flash. I installed the zip file and everything, it was successful. Then I clicked reboot. I waited between 10 and 15 minutes and all that had happened was it had looped through the boot screen (the one following the red M). I got scared and did a battery pull and went to wipe the data. I wiped the cache and decided to try to boot. Now I cannot even get it passed the red M. Help me - I don't want to brick. I'm in the process of downloading the SBF, but I don't have the quickest internet connection and it says 31 minutes left. I downloaded the RSDLite 5.3.1. and 5.1 Drivers found here: http://www.droid-life.com/2011/06/25/droidx2-sbf-2-2-2-available-for-download/ and the SBF file found here:http://forums.androidcentral.com/mo...ks/132504-help-my-dx2-stuck-bootscreen-2.html

Are these the correct files to be using? If not, what do I need? I'm not the best with technology, but I have some experience with it and can follow directions well. Any help is greatly appreciated.
