Calendar Crash

The calendar isn't something I use regularly, but when trying to add an event today it crashed the app. No warning, no error message, nothing, just back to home screen. Tried it multiple times. Tried restarting the phone, tried restarting launcher pro (in case it was related the launcherPro widget), tried clearing data for all calendar related apps (storage, sync adapter, etc...), nothing seems to help.

Anyone else have this problem?

After some research, it seems to be related to using those other "add calendar" features of your account. For me, it's the US Holidays calendar. I can't get rid of it now, tried multiple times to "unsubscribe" and the next time you login, it's back again. Looks like it's a problem for a lot of people (specifically the US Holidays Calendar), and as of now I can't find a solution. There's no word/ acknowledgement / help from Google on this, so maybe they think someone else is to blame.
