I want to be able to play a few 1080p videos (mp4, x264, aac audio) on my phone and mirror it to my TV. So far I have had choppy results using a few different video players, is there a better video format that the droid x2 likes better or could it be a bitrate problem?

Also, will the end result on the TV be 1080p or will the phone downsize the video to 960?540 and then mirror a resolution of 960x540 on the TV?

Thanks!

Regular video output will be in 1080p. Mirror output will be scaled 960x540. Using the stock video viewer, you should have no problem viewing 1080p videos, provided it is available (videos need to be recorded in 1080p in order to be played back in 1080p).
