My favorite apps

Let's see:

1. Pandora - during my walk to school I always flip on some tunes
2. NPR - Sometimes I'm more in the mood for News
3. Helix Launcher - best home app ever. I love the double tap to see all of the home screens in thumbnail form
4. Atumble - to post to my tumblr
5. AIM - used to use meebo, but after having the same bugs for several months, I decided to go with a more stable client.
6. Barcode Scanner - this comes in really handy
7. Beautiful Widgets - I love my TF2 clock (found that here :D)
8.Dictionary.com Widget - I like the word of the day.
9. Blow Up - Fun game with physics + pandas. What more could you ask for?
10. Speedx 3D - awesome and addicting game.

I also like goggles, the various emulators etc.

My apps seem to be the very common generic ones : / but I guess they are common for a reason :)

Non-root:TwiDroid, handcent SMS, Iheartradio, NFL Mobile (& NFL Superfan, though that isn't doing much right now...), Wifi Analyzer, Weatherbug, DroidLight (flashlight program from motorola, uses the flash LED as a flashlight) google Skymap, GPS Status, Daily Strip (all free; although some have paid versions as well, I don't need the additional functionality). Occasionally use Pandora, the Ustream Viewer, and have a lot of other apps I use sometimes.

Root: SetCPU (pretty much mandatory if you're going to overclock, but not free), ROM Manager, Wireless Tether for Android

So many, but the top are:

1. Bloo for notifications
2. Calendar Pad (much better than the native calendar app)
3. CardioTrainer
4. Dialer One (hands down 100x better than native phone and contacts app, especially if coming from blackberry)
5. Handcent (better customization of txts plus great to do a quick compose)
6. Nav Launcher (easier to input addresses to nav to and get to save favorites like traditional GPS)
7. Pure Calendar Widget (great if coming from blackberry and like to see better calendar widget than the native one)
8. Root Explorer
9. SetCPU
10. Voice (used to use Youmail, but you get push notification of VM with voice)
11. bTunes to replace music app
12. And the countless music streaming apps (Pandora and Slacker)
