not a big surprise since you have to pay extra for BES with Blackberrys, but now its confirmed.

Just happy to see that they have something that allows me use the phone for my job. i would not have a smart phone if not for my job. lets hope it works just as good as BES does on my BB.

This is actually no different than any other carrier and Verizon has always done this. A certain blog has blown this out of proportion IMHO. You can use the normal $30 data plan without issue. There is no way that Verizon can tell if you use exchange. It's no different with AT&T and the iPhone.

You don't need to sign up for the "corp email" plan, it's a complete mask... a scam.

All you need is the normal DATA, and the phones OS/software can do the exchange itself, it merely needs a data connection.
