Battery Will Not Charge

Hey guys, I charged my droid last night and got up this am as usual and drove to work. Got to my desk and i was 50 percent batt life. Normally i get home at 5ish and im at 40. I plugged in via usb to my pc and it doesnt seem to want to charge over 50. Thoughts? Is the battery fried? Any help is appreciated. Nothing has really changed in the last couple weeks.

I would check your USB cable first.

Check your USB cable, if your friends have a verizon phone (that is new and isn't a samsung) try their chargers. Do a battery pull. If that doesn't fix it, take it to a tech center and have them look at it.

is your phone off or on? the phone will not charge if turn off. and the only way i can get mine to turn off while plugged in is through a USB on the computer and try using a wall charger to see if that helps

My Droid will turn on and charge if it's off and I plug it in.

I'd suggest first making sure that the battery isn't overheated (not an uncommon issue).
