I've looked everywhere and all of them are no longer hosted. I need to manually downgrade using a Motorola Droid 2.1 img please post where i can find one. thanks!

I've yet to see a full/standalone 2.1 image myself. I have seen the full 2.01 image; I've also seen the 2.01 to 2.1 update image. I believe it's possible to run those in succession to accomplish what u want.

Out of curiosity why do you need/want to downgrade?
