Putting phone on vibrate

Is there quick way to put the phone on vibrate. Now I have to used the volume buttons to turn the phone all the way down till it goes to vibrate. Is there another way to do this?

***I understand how to put it on silent mode though the lock menu and holding the power bottom, I am looking for vibrate only.

Press and hold the power button on the top of the phone. You will get several options pop up.

Also if its locked sliding from right to left will make all sounds turn off.

Can you adjust those vibrations? Right now it Does a quick two vibrates for texts and I would like one long buzz.

I don't think that its possible yet. It would make for a nice app though.

Ring toggle by swwomm is a good apparently that will let you switch sound profiles. Very good app no force closes for me yet.

Quick Profiles is also good. Former BB users will be able to create familiar "profiles" like vibe, normal, loud, etc.

i use "Ringer Toggle Widget"

it's a 1x1 widget that alternates between normal, vibrate, and silent with a click of the icon.

those are the three profiles i use, so it works out perfectly for me
