Upgrade to 2.2 .wav file bug

Anyone else get their voice mail through a cisco VIOP through their office and used to be able to listen the .wav files in 2.1 but once you upgraded 2.2 found it no longer recognizes that file type?

I know there is an app you can buy for $3.00 on the Market but we should not have to pay money to a Market app to get the phone to do what it suppose to do in the first place.

Motorola has offered to replace my DROID with something...not really sure I want that something since it would be a refurbished DROID and I have had terrible luck with referb phones in the past.

My office just got bit by this, too. Verizon claimed to have never heard about the problem and didn't offer much hope of a quick fix. Apparently it's a bug in the base Android 2.2 software and affects all phone/carriers.
