I got my OTA update to Andriod 2.2 (Froyo), yesterday, on my birthday.
My favorite thing about 2.2 is that the clock displays differently on the display doc. With 2.1 it was always bright, and lit up the bedroom all night. 2.2 actually has a smarter display that can be dimmed.
I also like the addition of 2 more screens and the ability to get a thumbnail view of each screen.
I've moved a few apps to the SD card, but really haven't done much else.
I can't get USB tether to work. It says it is enabled, but my laptop doesn't recognize it. I guess this could be that Verizon disabled the function or my Windows XP computer is six years old.
Oh, yes, the screen rotates either way, no big deal.:)

On the USP tether thing -- Verizon will not enable this feature for the Droid. I've called them and asked, and the "official" USB tether feature will not work.

If you want the native USB tether to work as far as it will, ckick on "Help" and you will be directed to a google web site that will point you to XP USB modem drivers you need to install.

You can look up PDAnet in the market, however its use at your own risk, but it does work, just don't over do it.

BTW -- Happy B-Day
