Do I have a DIFFERENT UNLOCK SCREEN than everyone else?

On most of the videos I've seen of the Droid-- the unlock screen has had a ball that slides over a kind of hill-looking hump to unlock the phone.

However, my phone has a straight unlock bar (much like the iPhone) and has a sound on/off bar on the other side of the screen.

Is this normal? Is there a way to toggle the two?

When the phone came out 2.0 that is the way the lock screen worked (arched). After that they did an upgrade 2.01 which uses the straight bar.

I have the straight bar. I just got the phone a couple weeks ago.

DA6- How are you able to toggle back and forth between the three (2.0, 2.01, Hero)?

He has a lock screen app called LockBot or LockBot Pro lol

Thanks for the tip!

Tried the app, but seemed too laggy to use on a regular basis-- It's nice to have the option though.

And the iPhone screen looks busted.

Yeah I tried it too and though the same thing lol. But it is a pretty cool idea.

Yeah, just gave it a shot but the phone got slowwwwww.. uninstalled until they have a non-beta version with fixes
