What does this mean for AT&T / T-Mo users? It means that until there is a fix, people can listen to your phone calls / voice data. Makes me proud to be not only a Droid owner, but a Verizon customer!

The battle between AT&T and Verizon over who would be the next carrier for iPhone 4G which is expected to be released in the second quarter of 2010 is going to take more heat since AT&T is GSM and Verizon is CDMA which is still relatively a lot secure then the now-broken GSM. What?s your take on this

64bit GSM has been broken, it's going to force providers who have been dragging their feet to move to 128bit faster...

Still much easier and simpler to break your password on your Verizon (or Sprint, or TMo or AT&T, etc etc) account and 'compromise your privacy' that way.

Or con an account rep.:D

If you want real security, use hard copy and bonded couriers. Any data transfer on any device on any carrier is subject to exploitation. Just need a phone number, and a bit of time.
