Another back up question

Coming from a BB Storm, I am wondering if the Droid has the ability to back-up the data on the phone, other than the Google sync of the contacts.
I have Memos, Passwords, calendar etc.
Can this stuff be backed up onto my computer?

You can download Lookout from the Market. It's a backup/restore and lost phone program. As well as antivirus (for illicit apps I guess). You can backup your phone contents to the cloud (pictures, contacts, etc.). I don't think it backs up all your SD card contents though. Also, you can track your phone via GPS if it's lost, send a message to the phone, remote wipe it, and trigger an alarm if you lose it or it's stolen. Right now it's in beta, but I think it will move out of beta at the end of the month. It's free and if you get it before they move it out of beta, you get a free lifetime subscription, otherwise I think you have to pay.

It's good that the market has something, but this sounds like a major fault in Android.
Don't put your life in your phone.
