Does any one know of an app that can show me real time what kind of download speeds I'm getting, like a ticker next to the 3g in the notifications tab or something? Just curious.

And if not, is it even possible to do this??...

Speedtest, look it up in the market...you can test speeds on 3g as well as wi-fi!!!!

I haven't heard of a way to show for regular downloads.

What do you mean regular downloads?

Maybe downloads from the browser, market downloads, podcasts - things of that nature.

I would assume someone could find a way to add it into the download notification.

Oh well you could test it a couple times to get a baseline, then assume from there, I don't think there's anything like the ticker beside the 3g symbol or anything, effenheimer referred to.

Yeah that would be sweet to know on every download.
