I saw a video of someone using the Droid and they had the multitouch... they also actually used the pinch feature to zoom in/out like the iphone, but I don't know where that video is or if they had an app installed which allowed that function... seen too many to remember where they all are and which one showed what...

EDIT: I remembered where the video was...

Check out the zoom action at 2:40

Please note that this is assumed to be the GSM Version... (notice the Silver accents instead of the Gold)

I assume functionality should be about the same... Watching the whole video shows a few instances of lag which I am hoping is just the GSM Version, but we'll see when I get my test drive.... All the other videos seem to run perfectly fine and the reviews say it runs amazing.

Multi-touch is present in Droid but not in the pinch function i.e. iPhone. To zoom, you simply double tap.

watch the video i posted... it has the pinch function

EDIT: Must be a different app browser or an app allowing this function.

i saw surprised when i saw it since it has been stated so many times it didn't have the pinch. maybe they threw it in and didn't say anything?

seems like the screen should be glass like all (i think) capacitive screens on the market

The only true screen with a glass overlay is the iPhone. I've heard the Droid is glass as well but I can't really tell. And pinch to zoom in the browser is definitely not there.

I've used pinch-to-zoom and double-tap to zoom, and I prefer the latter personally.

Saw that. BGR also thinks it is glass but was not 100% sure.
