I can not download my picture straight to my windows 10 laptop rom my android-based motorola 1

Hi!

I connect my motorola 1 via the usb cable, my laptop recognizes it, I open the icon of motorola which appears, but I dont see any folder, nothing at all.

I have also tried what it is explained next:

Unlock your Android device.
With a USB cable, connect your device to your computer.
On your device, tap the "Charging this device via USB" notification.
Under "Use USB for," select File Transfer.
A file transfer window will open on your computer. ...
When you're done, eject your device from Windows.

But never the "Charging this device..." option appears, much less the "Use USB or..."

I dont want to upload my files via google drive, but download them straight to my laptop... please help me... what can I do?

Pull down the notification bar and look for the "Android System . Charging this device via USB" notification. Tap it. Change it there.

Welcome to Android Central! If you don't see the USB notification in the notification panel, then try a different USB cable.
