Look for the threads on rooting .602. You can update to 602 which is stock GB then u can use a one click method described in that thread under the rooting/roms section. Also read this link..

Ditto on the one-click root for 602. Took all of 5 minutes after downloading the zip file.

download titanium backup, then you can choose to freeze apps you don't use.. Which usually add to slowing your phone down.

Mostly the vzw bloatware; blockbuster, city data etc....

I got a question if you don't mind. My phone was rooted before the gb update. I can't root til I get rid of super user first. How do I remove it
