Bootstrap Issues after 605 root

I searched the forums and haven't found anything on this. Since unrooting Froyo, going to GB and re-rooting, bootstrap no longer works. I hit bootstrap recovery, the app states that it was successful, but when I go to reboot into recovery, my X makes it past the motorola icon but then the screen just goes black and does nothing more. After a battery pull it comes back up just fine and everything is normal, but I really want to try out MIUI... but if I can't reboot into recovery, well... any suggestions?

You need Bootstrap for Droid 2. Bootstrap for DX does not work.

to use droid x bootstrap on gingerbread... go into settings/applicaions/development/ and uncheck debugging... then it should work just fine
